PK Battles on EchoLive

A PK battle is a live contest between hosts. You cannot start a battle alone. First you merge with other live hosts, then you start the battle.

What a PK battle is

A PK battle is a live contest between hosts. Viewers gift to support a host. The host with more gift points when time runs out wins. Streaks go up when you win and reset when you lose.

You cannot start a battle alone. First you merge with other live hosts, then you start the battle.

How it works (hosts)

1. Go live

Start your stream from the EchoLive app (broadcasting is not available on the web yet).

2. Invite other hosts (merge)

While live in the app, invite other hosts who are also live. Up to 4 hosts can share one screen. Each person stays in their own stream; you appear together.

The other host gets an invite in the app and can accept or decline. You can choose who may invite you to merge or start a PK:

  • App: Settings → Privacy → who may invite you — Everyone, Followers only, or Nobody.
  • Web: Settings / Security → Privacy → Invite Battle — Public (everyone), Followers, or Private (nobody). Same setting; the labels differ.

You cannot invite someone during an active battle. Sending and accepting merge invites is app-only; the web can watch merged rooms and PKs but not host them.

3. Start the battle

Once at least 2 hosts are merged, one host starts a PK.

  • 2 hosts: 1v1
  • 3 hosts: 1v1v1 (everyone vs everyone)
  • 4 hosts: 1v1 (free-for-all) or 2v2 (you pick a teammate)

Length: 1 minute, 3 minutes, or 5 minutes.

The other hosts must accept. The battle starts only after they accept. In 2v2 they are added to a team and wait until opponents accept.

4. During the battle

A score bar shows each side. Gifts to a host add to that host’s (or team’s) score. Top gifters show as bubbles on each host’s tile. Tap a bubble to see that host’s top gifters.

5. When time is up

The winner is shown. Then a short pause (lap), then you’re back in the merge. You can battle again or leave the merge.

If someone leaves mid-battle, that can end the fight and count as a loss for the side that left.

How it works (viewers)

Open a live that is in a merge or PK. You’ll see more than one host on screen.

During a PK, pick a host and send gifts. Those gifts raise that host’s score. Combo gifts (more than one of the same gift) count as that many units.

After the battle you’ll see who won. Win streaks update at that moment, not while gifts are coming in.

Winning & streaks

  • Win: your win streak goes up by 1. Best streak is saved.
  • Lose: current streak goes back to 0. Best streak is kept.
  • Draw: everyone’s current streak goes to 0.

Streaks are shown on hosts in battle and on the result screen.

Quick path

  1. Two (or more) hosts go live
  2. One invites the other → they accept → you’re merged on one screen
  3. One starts a PK → others accept
  4. Viewers gift → scores rise
  5. Timer ends → winner + streaks → short results → merge again

Merge first, then PK. You cannot 1v1 from a solo stream. More on going live is on How live streaming works. Gifts and earnings are on How creators earn.
